Lys fremtid i mørke

Actionfredag is releasing their second album on November 8th! «Lys fremtid i mørke» is a life-affirming prog salute inspired by British brick buildings, Sundborn paintings, and vintage Norwegian children's TV. Coinciding with the rerouting of Oslo's buses, the album brings 10 fresh tracks, still defiantly in the major key, maintaining their Swedophile and Canterbury-esque sound, while taking a nostalgic step closer to the band's childhood stomping grounds in East Oslo.

Actionfredag is Katrina Lenore Sjøberg (Omhu, Åsa) on vocals, Aksel Valheim Lem on guitar, Ivar Haugaløkken Stangeby (Tusmørke, Mt. Melodie) on keys, Espen Fladmoe Wolmer (Live Aids) on drums, Martin Hella Thørnquist on vocals and guitar, and Ola Mile Bruland (Jordsjø, Mythopoeic Mind) on bass.

The album also features Maya Storvik on oboe, Anders Kristian Krabberød (Suburban Savages, Panzerpappa) on ebow guitar, Martin Nordrum Kneppen (Wobbler, the Chronicles of Father Robin) on recorders, Åsa Ree (Meer) on violin, Mari Mile Bruland on clarinets, Håkon Oftung (Jordsjø, Elds Mark) on flute, Trond Gjellum (Panzerpappa, Electrond) on cymbals, Kristian Frøland (Jordsjø) on slide guitars and glockenspiel, Liv Santos Holm (Maria Orieta Band, Crucial band) on bass synth and Nikolai Haugseth on french horn.
