Bendik HK (Bendik Hovik Kjeldsberg) follows up his Norwegian Grammy-nominated debut “Progressive Rock Music” with his second album, “Drakedreper.”

Bendik HK is known from the Oslo club scene as a composer, producer and DJ. He regularly works with artists such as Emilie Nicolas, Ary, Gundelach, and the German techno star Pantha du Prince to name a few. He has traveled the world with both his own and others' music, playing in clubs and festivals such as Berghain, Sonar, Primavera Sound and Mutek, in addition to his own concert at Boiler Room.

The rhythmically driven club album plays with historical genres such as UK breakbeat, Detroit techno, and American minimalism, while simultaneously challenging, varying, and surprising with new ways of thinking about club music. With a keen eye for detail, the album draws you into the dark club while remaining a purely immersive listening experience. From video games to classical music and iconic films, it is filled with subtle nods, samples and hidden surprises for the observant listener to uncover.
